68, urinary incontinence

"I don’t have the words to fully express my gratitude for what Dr. Klein has done for my back and my overall health. After a back injury 8 years ago, I have lived in the shadow of fear of reinjury. I tried everything I could think of: chiropractic, massage, acupuncture, electrostimulation; I even consulted a back surgeon who could not “see” anything to fix. This was my clue that I had a muscular weakness. That’s when I heard about pelvic floor muscles and everything began to make sense. I couldn’t believe the relief after just ONE session with Dr. Klein! She found the “weak link” and showed me how to strengthen it. In only two sessions, I feel stronger than I did before my injury. I am jumping rope without leaks and lifting weights without fear. So very grateful!"

55, back pain, stress incontinence

"My hesitation to try pelvic floor therapy disappeared quickly after I met Dr. Christine. I was at ease as she explained the cause of my problem and as she demonstrated the exercises that would help strengthen my bladder.  As we went through the program I always felt comfortable with her. Dr. Christine is very professional, knowledgeable and understanding.  I can’t thank her enough for my peace of mind regarding my bladder control."

"I’m amazed by the quick results I got from following Dr. Klein’s PT program. I’d been experiencing terrible intermittent pain which resolved within a few days of starting her suggested exercises and stretches. She’s really knowledgeable, and gave me the exact right plan to solve my problem."

61, pelvic pain

"Ten days ago I didn’t even know what a pelvic floor therapist was. But because I was worried about an odd bulge inside my vagina I started searching the internet for answers. I knew my aunt had a prolapsed uterus years ago and was worried I might have that. Fortunately, in my google search I ran across Christine’s practice and am so glad I did. She taught me things about my pelvic and organ musculature that I knew nothing about. In my hour-long eval with her she taught me how to identify what my muscles were doing and when. She coached me on pelvic floor exercises and,  among other things, how to properly do the weight training exercises that I already do. She also gave me a number of handouts to help reinforce her coaching.  She is amazing and so giving in her information."

70, pelvic organ prolapse

"Christine was thorough in assessing me and getting to the bottom of my issues. I saw significant improvement from the exercises she gave me within a very short timeframe. I continue to do them and my life is better for it. Thank you, Christine!"

37, stress incontinence

"Meeting Christine was so comfortable, like meeting a friend. Totally in the dark about pelvic therapy, she enlightened me!  Her soft voice and super skills enabled me to take charge of my own cystocele issues. She tailored my plan, taking into consideration my love for pickleball, and how to play more safely from the prolapse viewpoint. Incredible! After a few weeks, I'm already enjoying changes and, because my greatest concern was having to endure surgical repair, I feel I can avoid the down time and more surely the pain from recovery. Great doctor. Super nice office. If I start slipping or need to get more coaching...I'll revisit Dr. Christine."

68, pelvic organ prolapse

“After two sessions with Dr. Christine I went from needing to self-catheterize myself to urinate at least 3x/day to 0x/day.  I am able to urinate without having to catheterize to empty my bladder because of what I learned in pelvic floor physical therapy.  I had even been told by one of my doctor’s that I would need to catheterize myself for the rest of my life.  I’m grateful for Dr. Christine.”

45, frequency of urination

"Christine Klein is the best physical therapist I have ever had. For 7+ years, I struggled with pelvic floor pain and was put on unnecessary antibiotics because I was told it’s probably some sort of bacteria. Finally, I found a doctor who recommended Christine. She started to help me with pelvic floor muscle spasms and I am no longer in constant pain and no longer on any antibiotics! It was only a few visits and I already started to feel better (after dealing with this for at least 7 years)!! She also has helped me with my neck and other pains and gives me exercises to make other parts of my body strong as well. She listens and is the most down to earth and nicest person. I honestly can’t recommend Christine enough . . . she has changed my life for the better and I know she will help you too!"

33, constipation, dyspareunia, urinary incontinence, rectocele

"I’ve struggled with constipation my whole life. I believed it was something I would just have to deal with or take prescription medications forever to keep it under control. Unfortunately, even medication didn’t fully fix the issue. My doctor referred me to physical therapist Christine Klein who specializes in pelvic floor therapy. Christine and her expertise have changed my life! She is extremely detailed and has patience when helping you get to your goal. She helped me understand the mechanisms of my pelvic floor and how it relates to my bowel habits. She offered me several resources for breathing technique, relaxation methods and nutritional/dietary changes that have made a huge difference. She used biofeedback to help us measure the progress during every session which gave me a good visual to compare and know how well things are going. I’d recommend PT Christine to anyone because she is supportive, understanding and she doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable despite the embarrassment that this may involve. She makes you feel very safe. After a couple of weeks of therapy I feel much better! Thank you, Christine,  for your amazing work and all that you do. Thank you."

“I knew nothing about therapy for pelvic floor prolapse until I was referred to Embrace Health PT. Dr. Christine Klein is great at teaching about and explaining the issue and then walking you through exercises to help impede further prolapse. I was fascinated to learn all this and encouraged to know there are things to be done for aging systems. The lower back ache I had before starting this PT is now gone. Don't be hesitant to look into this therapy if you are wanting help. It's a very educational process, and Dr. Christine is very welcoming and comfortable to talk with. Thanks, doc! =)”

35, overactive bladder

"Christine gave me my active life back.  It doesn’t take much imagination to figure out why one needs a physical therapist that specializes in pelvic floor issues, so let’s not dwell on that. Let’s just say it impacts your everyday life. It especially impacted my active life.  Running, hiking and all outdoor activities become special challenges.

Working with Christine I was able to return to what I love doing.

She is courteous and manages the sensitive topics very well.  She will put you at ease.  Moreover she has many exercises and adjustments to exercises that retrain your ability.

I highly recommend her."

"I scheduled a re evaluation with Christine after being gone for 5 months over the summer. She followed up on all the suggestions we had discussed last spring, checked me internally, congratulated me on things that had improved and corrected things I was doing incorrectly.  I feel I have a partner in my efforts at self care. She makes me feel in charge of my own body, not an old, helpless victim of an embarrassing fate. I would gladly recommend her to any friend going through the wonderful adventure of menopause!"

I couldn’t recommend this more especially if you are experiencing pelvic floor pain."

31, pelvic and hip pain

"I was recently referred to Christine by my urologist  for help with my newly rebuilt pelvic floor and some related nerve damage I sustained over a year ago in some spine surgery. Before this, I had never heard of this branch of medicine for women like me who need help with not only incontinence, but other female "issues". What I found with Christine was an astounding amount of info and hands on therapy to help me, along with quite a bit of "homework" to keep me busy and along a path of resolving more than one health challenge! She even found that my hips were out of alignment and did a simply exercise to correct it! I was never uncomfortable with her, and was surprised at how thorough she was in getting all my info down and showing me how to get my system back to as close to normal as possible.   I can't thank her enough, and know that if I ever need her skill-set again, she will be there for me. I would highly recommend her services to anyone with pelvic floor, bladder or female "issues" to see her and get help.  She is fantastic!!!!!"
